Kids & Kows & More: The free program that lets kids get a close look at cows will be back from 8 am to noon Friday at the El Paso County Coliseum, 4100 E. Paisano Drive.
Art exhibit: The International Museum of Art, 1211 Montana Ave., presents “Dawn of a New Day” featuring the artwork of Gia Flores, Joanna Overton and Pámela Vigo Sánchez. The exhibit ends March 26. A private member and VIP preview will be from 5 to 8 pm Friday, with a public opening reception from 1 to 5 pm Saturday. The reception will feature live music, art demonstrations and a meet and greet with the artists.

Monster Jam: The adrenaline-charged monster truck tour will return with shows at 7 pm Saturday and 3 pm Sunday at Sun Bowl Stadium. Tickets range from $20 to $75, plus fees, and are available via Ticketmaster.com and at the UTEP Box Office. Pit passes for $20 each, plus fees, are available and will be good for 2:30 to 5:30 pm Saturday and are in addition to the cost of admission.
Ana Gabriel: Mexican singer Ana Gabriel will bring her Por Amor a Ustedes World Tour to El Paso at 8 pm Saturday at the El Paso County Coliseum. Tickets, ranging from $54 to $181, plus fees, are available at Ticketmaster.com and the coliseum box office.
El Paso Ballet: The El Paso Ballet Theater will present “To You with Love,” an evening of classical and contemporary Ballet” at 7:30 pm Saturday at the Abraham Chavez Theatre. Tickets are $35, plus fees, available at Ticketmaster.com
Felipe Esparza: The comedian will bring his Unmasked Tour 2022 to El Paso with a show at 8 pm Saturday at the Plaza Theatre. Tickets, ranging from $35 to $65, plus fees, are available at Ticketmaster.com
Barks, Books and Bait: The county’s Parks & Recreation Department, along with the El Paso County Animal Welfare Department, is hosting a Barks, Books and Bait event from 7:30 am to noon at the Ascarate Park pavilion, 6900 Delta Drive.

Downtown Farmers Market: The El Paso Downtown Artist and Farmers Market, featuring handmade arts and crafts and regional agricultural products, is open from 9 am to 1 pm Saturdays at 117 Anthony St.
Music release party: El Paso indie pop band Soul Parade Music will have a free album release party at 9 pm Saturday, March 5, at Love Buzz, 3011 Pershing Drive. The band consists of Eduardo Martinez, Enrique Martinez, Joshua Elias Gonzalez, Aleksya Danahe and Nancy Loya. The performance will feature music from their upcoming album, “The Garden.” The event also will have featured performances by Coco Butter, Stan Z, and Groovy Shmokes (Grooviano Evan Romo).
